Cafe 89 by Seedevi Family Restaurant

A place with a calming and relaxing interior atmosphere where you can have a chit chat with your friends or family while having a cup of coffee with some snack. Different tastes of coffee, fresh fruits juices, cakes, patties, cookies, etc. are available at this place. There is a book corner as well. The most important feature hear is that you have three small banquet halls which can accommodate about ten people where you can have a small family gatherings as well as gatherings with your friends or colleagues. The service is admirable. Wash rooms, rest room and parking available, and this cafe is adjacent to the Seedevi Restaurant.

We recently visited Cafe 89 while we were on a roadtrip in Sri Lanka. The Coffee, short eats and cakes were so lovely and tasty. The restaurant is modern, clean and air conditioned - while offering other packaged snacks and treats for sale. I would recommend this spot for Breakfast, tea time ...or really anytime if you like a good slice of cake and relaxation :) We ordered the coffee and a few slices of cake and they were 10/10 in taste and quantity. (I couldn’t take a photo cos we ate it so quickly )

Good breakfast option in Anuradhapura. Clean place with very good service. Coffee and tea available on the buffet menu but no milk. Clean washrooms without toilet papers. Just some minus point on these from me. Other than that excellent place. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place for all your meals.

Spacious cafe with redy made pastries sandwiches and cakes. You can oder from the menu for À la cart menu as well but that was not encouraged by the staff for some reason Ample parking

This is a very good restaurant for a snak during visit to Anuradhapura. Range of Ceylon tea and Coffe available at this restaurant . Their toilets are very clean and even you can have a shower with add cost . Restaurant is very quiet and comfortable. This is a very good restaurant for a short rest as they have good rest room facility . Staff is friendly and helpful .

We were staying close by and I asked if I could have a vegetable omelette, which wasn’t on the menu, and they made it for me! Also, we tried some of the pasties which were really delicious!!

Food: We tried chocolate fudge cake which was okay but tasted pretty dry. I almost had a sugar rush because it was too sweet for my liking. Also my parents tried their Sri Lankan milk tea which they said tasted really good.I drank the hot chocolate which I didn't expect to be offered on a huge glass so it's really worth the price. Service: The staff was okay ig but compared to their seedevi restaurant staff they didn't seem to be as much as welcoming looking as them. Atmosphere: This place has a very aesthetic looking interior design and is well organized.
